URLs to automatic links

Thanks, both of you, for looking into it. Another poster said he also has not had a problem with subsequent posts. Can it be it only happens the first time a given poster posts a link? That kind of defies logic, to me. But, for the time being we'll mark this "Solved." If any further problem I'll post back.

Yeah, I see that and changed that setting. Didn't have it enabled originally because I thought it would create a button which would allow posters the choice of same-window links ... apparently not the case. However the prior occurrences I posted were all external links and that still remains a mystery, but until and if it happens again, it will be considered solved. Thanks very much for your help!
