I know this has come up before in SMF 2.x support but I tried the solutions that worked for them and it didnt work (i.e., I removed all cookies and reset the browser and I checked cookie path to be / not /tmp)

The error scenario is:
Go to Packages. CLick [delete] on a package. Verify FTP credentials. Click "proceed." I get the Session Verification Failed error, prompting me to log out and back in.

It started today when I updated from RC3 to RC4.

I would add to another topic but they were marked "solved" and i know that is frowned upon.  Thanks for your help.

* IncognitoMuse would hope this gets moved to Bug Reports since it seems obvious that the FTP dialogue form isn't passing through the session properly... either that or the receiving handler needs to checkSession on request rather than get.

Can't you upload files without FTP?.

This is not being done through an FTP client. This is in SMF Admin > Packages. I select an active package I had in RC3. With the small upgrade to RC4, it's gone and I need to delete it and reinstall it. This is me trying to delete it from SMF.
