Database upgrade

I recently upgraded to SMF 1.0.5 hoping this would fix my errors I have been getting.  My problem/error I get is when I add IPs to my ban list.  I can add one successfully but as soon as I add two or more, it will give me the following error.

Database Error: Out of memory. Restart daemon and try again (needed 32768 bytes)
File: /usr/data/main/tssracing.com/Forum/Sources/ManageMembers.php
Line: 1372

A friend of mine suggested that I upgrade my database to 1.0.5 also.  The phpMyAdmin version is 2.5.6 and the MySQL version is 3.23.58.  When I installed the SMF 1.0.5 upgrade, I did not get anyerrors.

I guess I'm a little confused on what I should do to correct this problem.  Any help would be appreciated.

Hmmm... that doesn't sound too good.  I would guess your host has oversold the server.  Have you contacted them about this error?
