Maintanance Mode?

 Just upgraded to RC4 and some members say they get these messages

Okay faithful users...we're attempting to restore an older backup of the database...news will be posted once we're back!

The problem doesn't appear on a Mac. One member has a PC and can't access with that, but the Mac doesn't give problems..
I myself have no problems, tried finding errors, but nothing shows.
Only when I follow the link below I get the same problem as my members

Admin -> Configuration -> Server Settings -> Maintenance Mode (uncheck)

Most likely it was put in maintenance mode when you upgraded, and was never reset.
