Installing "buttons" for a new theme

I would like to know in which directory to upload the new buttons set for a new theme.

Assuming that you want to create a theme based on the default theme (that means it is not heavily modified, nothing else) first create the theme called whatever you want, fiddle with the style.css to your hearts content and then if you want different buttons for it, you need to FTP them up to that theme. All the button images are in the [theme]/images/english folder or whatever language your site is set up for. Then you need to change the images link for that theme to point to the images folder in your new theme.
