Upgrade from 1.0.5 to 1.1 Beta 3 did not update themes?

Hello,

I recently updated one of my boards to the latest version of SMF. Something went wrong, because it seems that the theme files were not updated. This causes further errors, like missing menu links in the admin panel.

The version check in the admin panel shows the following information:

Version Information:
Forum version: SMF 1.1 Beta 3 Public
Current SMF version: SMF 1.0.5

SMF File        Your Version             Current Version
SMF Package   SMF 1.1 Beta 3 Public   SMF 1.0.5
Sources               1.1 Beta 3 Public          1.0.5
Default Templates   1.0 RC2                1.0.4
Language Files   1.0 RC2                    1.0.4

I am just wondering why the upgrade procedure did not upgrade the default templates/themes as well. Did someone else experience such issues, too?

Please let me know if you need more detailed information.

Cheers,
   Markus

Well seems your default theme is beta3 because certain functions work. Version check shows wrong. I have seen similar issue, then it was some weird path issue. Try run repair_settings.php and click all those blue links in it. Any help?

What is repair_settings.php?

edit: typo

@Owdy:

Thanks for the hint. I will try it this evening and will let you know if this resolves my problem.

Owdy, you are the man. Your hint with repair_paths.php worked for me and fixed the problem - thx!  :)
