Hi, my problem is when i try to put a favicon in my smf forum, in my index.template , i add this after ?> :

<html>
   <head>
      <link rel="shortcut icon" href="the link" >
   </head>
</html>

Well, the favicon if it appears on my site, but the problem is that the font size increases, and I do not know why, but when I remove the favicon, the font size back to normal

anyone know what is the problem?  :(

You shouldn't need to do anything but put a favicon.ico file in the root of your SMF install.

Baby Daisy

SMF 2.0 RC4 comes with native favicon support.

Simply upload a favicon.ico to your root directory and you're all set

But, it may take a while for it to show up. Just an FYI.  ;)

Because the code is probably incorrect.

SMF 2.0 RC4 has build-in favicon.ico support. You should not have to do anything besides putting it in the forum's directory.
