Remove OR Autocollapse the Welcome Centre

I am currently looking at using SimplePortal.. and including the user info into one of its 'blocks'

this would make the "Hello {user}"
                                     "You have 10 unread posts"
etc area with their avatar displayed, redundant.

I am after any way possible to make this auto-collapse, or if needed, completely remove it from the code.

Any help at all would be appreciated. Cheers.

You've only been waiting for an hour and 45 minutes.  No need to bump so quickly and often.  Not trying to sound rude, just be patient.

Might take a day or 2 for someone with the 'know how' to respond.  It is possible, yes.  But I haven't used Rc3 before; so I wouldn't know exactly how unless i lookked at the index.template.php file

After looking at your responses I'm really concerned about the support you will get. With such attitude of your's hardly anyone will be willing to come forward to support your posts.
