Porting 1.1.12 database to new 2.0RC4 install

I'm planning on installing 2.0RC4 on another server, and need to move my database from 1.1.12 over to it.  I have a few mods installed, including TinyPortal 1.083. 

Will this work?
- Copy database to new server
- Install 2.0RC4 and point at database (which would be 1.1.12)
- Hopefully 2.0RC4 would see that it's an old schema and update
- Install missing mods

Thoughts?

Not a snowball's chance in Hell, I'm afraid.

If you import a v1.1.12 database into a v2.x forum, it'll croak.

You'd need to install v1.1.12, import, then upgrade.

(Did I get that right?)

It'd be easier to do this:
Copy database to new server
Upload 2.0 RC4 Large Upgrade
Upload Settings.php from 1.1.12 install
Upload repair_settings.php and fix all paths
Navigate to http://yourboard.com/upgrade.php

Run the upgrade and have fun.  (there is no need to 'reinstall' 1.1.12)

Delete upgrade.php, all *.sql files, and repair_settings.php when done.
