Line across words?

One of my members posted a post, but half way into the post a random line is running through the words. And no, he did not select the option

Any one know why

EDIT: I think it has to do with the fact that in every other sentence he as the word iPhone3G(s)

Is there anyway to disable this, since almost everyone is going to use it
