"Forgot Password" bug?

Hi.  A user has recently had troubles with the "Forgot Password" utility on our forum, so I tested it out myself, and here's what I found:

Could this be a problem with my theme?  Or is it a bug in RC4?

Theme is Blackbox RC4.

My SMF install is RC4.

A problem encountered by various members, including myself, on both 1.1.x and 2x versions. I'm not certain if a definitive solution has been found except to try another browser but worth taking a look at...

Oops, link doesn't work so go to Search and put forgot password into the search field, tick the boxes for messages and topics.


The Boards to look at are 1x support, 2x support and bug reports.


Edit : sudden thought - clear the cookies from your current browser and retry.

i forgot to report back... clearing the cookies didn't work.
