I recently enabled IPv6 on my webserver. Suddenly, when I view the "Who's Online" section on my forum (2.0 RC4), all IPs show as "0.0.0.0". I know there is a similar problem where users connecting with IPv6 show up this way, however I am quite sure that none of my users are connecting with IPv6, since I have not yet added an AAAA DNS record for my site. It seems that the mere act of giving my webserver IPv6 capabilities has broken the forum.

This is going to be a huge problem. I cannot disable IPv6 to my entire webserver just to fix the forum.

Are there any fixes for this? I am hosting on Linux with Lighttpd webserver.

Edit: If I could just find the place in the code where IP addresses are queried, I could fix the notation.

No, you can't just fix the notation, since there are multiple places it's stored, in multiple different forms.

Adding IPv6 to the forum is actually a major overhaul and isn't going to happen in SMF before 2.1 occurs.
