How does the articles function work on SMF 2.x?

There is no "Articles" function on SMF 2.x. Are you referring to a portal, or what?

You're best asking on simpleportal.net since it's a function of their software, not part of 2.0 itself.

You must first create an Article Category. Once a category is created, you can create new articles for that category.
