Hi,

I´m using 2.0 rc4 and each time I try installing a mod my Bluefish editor tries opening the file and I can´t install it. Any idea why this is happening? Thanks for any help.

Hi, how are you trying to install that mod?

It should be uploaded as a zip file and not unpacked.

Please see: Package Manager

If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer. If that fails, read the manual.

I´m using the package manager and uploading a zip. It gets as far as doing all the file tests, they all pass, and it then says install mod, I click install and it opens bluefish. It tells me its a php file and wants me to open it with bluefish.. I never had this problem before. Any ideas?

Sounds like Apache is dumping core and causing a raw PHP file to be output instead of displaying the page.  What mod are you trying to install?  Are there any core.* files in your SMF directory?

No, I don´t see any core files. I was trying to add the quick reply on top mod. I never had this problem before.

Attached is a pic. Clicking the install button opens Bluefish.. All tests are successful??
