Permission Settings On Key Update Files And Directories - 755

Just updated to 2.0 RC5 from 2.0 RC4 and first time with no help on 2.0 so very happy but a like to know question if anyone can help

After uploading the files SMF intructions say to change the permission settings on a few files and directories. Checked my settings and apart fron these below they were all set to 755

•Themes/default/languages/Install.english.php  was set 644
•agreement.txt was set 644
•Settings.php was set 600
•Settings_bak.php was set 600

Changed them to 755 but my question is should I go back in and restore them to the original settings now the update is complete?

Reason I am asking is sure I did last time hence having to 755 them again to do this update. If left at 755 I asume next update there would be no need to change any permissions, but is that OK to do?
