Changing text for profile entries

When a member enters or edits there profile, under the signature section, they see the text:

"Signatures are displayed at the bottom of each post or personal message. BBC code and smileys may be used in your signature."

Is this text in a file that can be edited to add or delete from it?

yes, you can edit that part, the string is located at /Themes/default/languages/Profile.your_language.php
