Hi,

I'm using SMF 2.0 over at hxxp:www.l-a-m.org/forum/index.php [nonactive] - with a custom theme.

I'd like a BBCode editor/help guide to appear when users start or reply to a topic, but I'm not getting one.

I have made sure BBCode is turned on under Forum > Posts and topics > Bulletin Board Code and I 've checked 'Show WYSIWYG editor on post page by default.' in Configuration > Themes and layout > Member options for both my custom theme and the default, but the option won't stay checked.

I'd greatly appreciate a hand.

Thanks,

Spoogs

Is that a 2.0 theme (it looks more like a 1.1x theme to me)

Illori

check admin -> current theme -> Show BBC Buttons on Posting and PM Send Pages:

[edit] it must have a 1.1.1* modified theme    <script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript" src="http://www.l-a-m.org/forum/Themes/default/script.js?fin11"></script> or there is something odd going on

Huskyteer

Wow, that was quick :)

Ah, no, I created the theme from Default when I was still running 1.x. Should I update it?

Yup, that's checked too!

I would reccomend updating it or at least using a 2.0 compatible theme.... that theme is broken in a few places just from what I can see as a guest.

Illori already suggested what I was thinking would solve the problem.
