Mail Problem

I'm using SMF from few days.I have some problem reguarding mailing from My website.
1.First i have set the default PHP method for sending mail.but it didn't work.
2.Then i use Yahoo & Hotmail As SMTP server & tried to send mail.But it also didn;t work.
my hosting server doesn't give account for SMPT.So i have to use other SMPT like gmail,yahoo mail etc Or PHP method.But any method doesn't work.As i want to use email verification for registration,emailing is required.
If any one has any suggestion or solution,Please Reply

The PHPMail option is set by default and should always work....who do you host with ?

or ask your web host what their smtp server is (and how to access it), anyways you should open a ticket with your provider first and get them to fix the email issue

My hosting server doesn't give SMTP & php mailing for security reasons.only way is to use external smtp server.but smtp like google doesn't work for me.

So then they might also be blocking port 25 and 587 from their firewall for security reasons, so that means that you can not send mail, so it might be time for you to find a new web hosting company...
