Standard "roll eyes" smileys & others don't move

I have test installations of SMF 2.0 RC1-1, RC4, and RC5. In the RC1-1 installation, several of the default smileys (roll eyes, shocked, kiss, etc.) are animated. In the RC4 and RC5 installations, these same smileys are not animated, though they look normal in all other respects. The same thing is true in the official SMF forum I'm typing in now, which is RC5.       

Is this intentional, or a bug affecting the latest SMF versions?

It's intentional. The smiley set changed sometime around RC2 to this current set which aren't animated.
