I'm stumped, one of my members logged in last night. Now his user name shows up first on the users online list, but he hasn't been on since yesterday.

Any ideas what would cause this?
Thank you.

As you can see, I'm not using all of the mods... This is the first time this type of things has happened, I have not installed any of these mods recently.

Thanks for the reply.

If the window was left open on the computer, it would show them being logged in all night, or whatever, since either of the shoutboxes you have will be loading the page every few seconds for them.

RVD

Wouldn't the username slowly move down the list?

Just a noob...thanks for the replies

Arantor

Nope, the request is being made literally every few seconds, so they're "constantly online". I get this on the one site I run that also has a shoutbox, and for the same reason.

RVD

The shoutbox is not enabled.  Just the chat. Would that work the same way? the user does not show up in the chat.

Arantor

Yup, works exactly the same way - it still has to reload the page to get the information.
