You cannot download or install new packages?

You cannot download or install new packages because the Packages directory or one of the files in it are not writable!

im getting this and i dont understand why im getting this, ive got all the permissions just the way they are supposed to be, and it wont let me install any packages.

i go into package manager and when i try to install one, it gives me that, and i have checked the settings.

Do you have a temp folder in your packages folder?

is there sposed to be a folder named backup? that is all the folder i got in there

i uploaded several files, bout 20 of them, from the mod site, and when i went to install them, i get this message, ive deleted all those files, uploaded 1, and still same error, ive done everything i can think of to make it work, chmoding and everything, it just sint working, and it doesnt make sense, i even restarted the vps.

that is pretty weird, i logged out and back in and it was fine.
