How to remove this text from post ?

Hi guys, i have problem. On every post on my forum, there is something like "dtz" a the top left. Here is picture. Please help me how to remove that, cauz it's boring! :D

That's a logo?.
If so go to the Theme Files, In your Web Hosting cPanel or Admin Control Panel & delete the logo.png/gif file.

It look likes a manual edit in one of your files. Maybe done by a MOD ?

I'll advise you to use the programm "Fileseek" to search for this text ik your SMF-files.

Hi, welcome to SMF. :)

Does it do this with the default theme?

Also does this appear if you switch your language to English?

Are your forums set to use UTF-8?

If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer. If that fails, read the manual.

It does with default theme.
Forum is set on UTF-8.
Same in english.

I tried all but same problem. I have to try Fileseek, because it is not logo.png or gif...

looking at your forum as a guest, in both opera and firefox I dont see that text.

if you view the source of that page you will see

ďťż<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> which means one of your template files has this text added before the opening <html> tag i believe. you can check your template files and see if you can find one with that text on the top of the file and remove it.

i attached only index.template.php, cause i dont have display.templete.php...

I looked at the file via iPhone and didn't see it.  Load the display.template.php from your default theme.

It's also possible it would be in a Source file. The best thing to do, would be to compress your forums directory and search for that text in the directory, or attach the zip here and we can find it for you.

I would also suggest that the user upload a copy of the tool Slammeddime coded to detect BOM within the file, I would link to it but I am not on my usual comp and have no idea where the link is.
