Need to move members of one SMF forum to another SMF forum. Is this doable?

I have an SMF forum and I am closing it down and will be merging to another SMF forum. Is there a way to move all my members into the other SMF forum? If so, what is the procedure?

You might ask if I care about the data on the forum we are leaving? Not really but would be nice if there was a way to import info too but it's not crucial if it's too difficult because both forums are already established and have their own subjects and topics. My main concern is moving all the gang into the other forum so that they do not have to re-register.

The forum that is being shut down is SMF 2.0 RC3 but so is the one we are moving into so both forums consist of SMF 2.0 RC3,

Ok ty based on what I read, I am going to make it easy on myself. I will just tell everyone to re-register as some of us were already members on both forums.
