How to make a certain section of the board private from regular members

hi im trying to make a certain section of my forums private from the regular members group (a VIP Section) how do i do this (also needs to be hidden from quests)

This is more of an access issue
Admin>>Forum>>Boards>Modify Boards.... click modify next to the board(s) in question and uncheck all the groups that should not have access to the board... also uncheck all postcount groups

As well as restricting it entirely, you can also make it read only for certain members, and make it so that the post count does or doesn't go up when they post in that section!

You should probably make a VIP group first as it's easier to change the permissions of the new board if you already have the group to give permission to.
