Show similar posts when posting?

Is posible to show similar posts when entering post's name on smf ?
on vbulletin is possible. i really need that to don't make double posts :/

Make sure your have the right version of SMF though.

that will only show related topics after the topic is created not while someone is typing the title like the op wants.

I really wouldn't suggest doing it while typing the title, like autocomplete, since the performance hit of doing that will be enormous. It might be viable to do based on when clicking off the title box (attached the JS onblur event) but even then it's still going to really have an impact on performance as you get a lot of topics - even if it's just limited to the one board at the time.
