[4892] Firefox 4 RC1 Issue

Just an FYI: The spell-checker does not work when using Firefox RC1 when the wysiwyg editor is used - it works fine on the Quick Reply box because there's no wysiwyg editor there.

Confirmed in SMF 2.0 RC4 but here in RC5 it's working again.

My site is running SMF RC5 and now I'm using Firefox 4 final and still see the problem on this forum and mine.

What doesn't work about it? I just tested it here on this site using FF 7.0.1 and it works great. Please elaborate on what you mean by it doesn't work.

Attached are screenshots with and without the WYSIWYG editor. In the first, the spell-check works. In the second, it does not work/appear. I've tried this on multiple computers running Firefox and have had the same results.

That's an issue with the browser. That isn't SMF's spell check. You should upgrade your browser

It works if I use the MSIE 7 user agent in FF8, so it should mean is some FF-specific piece of code we have for the spell check.

So I'd vote for SMF bug, what do you think?
