I am facing this problem from a long time. Whenever me or any other member uploads any file ,then it shows only 0kb size not actual. Is there any way to show the original file size at download page ?

NanoSector

What is your max. attachment size, and attachment folder size?

Max file size is 15 mb and folder size is 0 means unlimited.
Actually the file is getting uploaded and downloaded successfully but at download page attachments shows 0kb size not actual file size.

Sorry, should've asked...

Does this happen with all themes?

Game.ruler

Yup with all themes. But whenever i upload zip file ,it shows actual size but for other extentions only 0kb. Plz k@ help me.

kat

I've been checking through the mods, to see if I can see anything that looks like it could be causing this.

Nothing weird leaps out at me, though.

I'm bamboozled, I'm afraid.

I'm just going to see if I can find an older post about the same problem.

Game.ruler

Thanx k@. I m waiting for your reply.

kat

Nope. Nothing.

:(

I'm guessing that it HAS to be one of those mods.

No idea which, though.

Sorry. :(

Game.ruler

Its ok k@. I really respect you all for helping nature.
Waiting for any solution.

If you mean while downloading, that's apparently normal.

SMF apparently does not report file sizes to the browser or something.

But it was reporting file size to  browsers till feb. No new mods installed in this month.

Before a certain limit.

I cannot think it up right now but there is one.

PS most browsers just say "Unknown file size", not 0 KB.

K. But is there any way to fix it ?
So that browsers can show the actual file size while downloading.

kat

Actually, my browser does that, here, too.

Sorry, I totally misunderstood what you meant.

I thought you meant where the attachment appears, in posts. :(

Please remove that link from your post. It's to illegal material.
