Edited a Mod Manually, some problems

Hi,

I had made some manual edits to a mod (instructed by the developer), but post edits I am getting some problems. My ads aren't showing, as well as my ShareThis buttons. I tried restarting services and emptying SMF file cache.

What else would cause this? The edits were extremely minor, replaced one line of code, and added two lines of coding that had nothing to do with the ads or ShareThis buttons, or the template for that matter.

EDIT: The issue is resolved and it had nothing to do with SMF. Very sorry for the extra topic!
