Attachments are not showing up under the posts in my forum.  I have checked the admin settings for attachments and verified that the setting is correct.  (image link)

Is there something else I am missing?  I have noticed in my attachments folder that the various files have "_thumb" after the .gif or .jpg extension ... is that as intended?  Also, the thumbs are all 0kb ... I'm guessing that's the key, but have no idea where or how to fix it.

Other info:  (copied from my admin center)

Forum version: SMF 1.1 Beta 3 Public (more detailed)
Current SMF version: SMF 1.1 Beta 3 Public
PHP version: 4.2.2
MySQL version: 3.23.58
Server version: Apache/2.0.40 (Red Hat Linux)

Are you using a custom theme? Is this theme updated to work with 1.1 Beta 3 Public?

I am using SMFone, but I also tested this using the default theme, and the problem is there as well.

Should note that I also just tried reattaching the file using the default theme ... no change.

Turn off the "resize images when showing under posts" option.

alrighty ... still won't show on the SMFone theme, but it does show now on the default theme.  But it's pretty big ... is there a way to get around the resizing issue?

[Unknown]

I'm not sure.  It may be resolved in the next release (which I may try to push through soon.)

Just upgraded to 1.1 rc1 ... still having the same issue.  Is it safe to assume that it just hasn't yet been addressed?

Do you still have thumb files that are 0 bytes?

And it still doesn't work in the default theme?

yes to both with existing attachments.

I tried using the default theme to add a new attachment.  The thread posted without any error popups, but when I went back to view it, the poor thing won't load.  I can view the attachment thru  admin panel --> Attachments --> browse files ... so I know it uploaded fine.

Something I noticed on the error log:
8: Undefined index: attach_lose
File: /***/***/***/raven-flight.com/httpdocs/community/Themes/default/languages/Post.english.php (eval?)
Line: 533

There's 22 of these ... different times starting about an hour ago and all under my username.  There are several different files being acces, but all have this same error involved.

EDIT:

hmm ... some other errors I noticed related directly to the new thread:

2: imagecreatetruecolor(): requires GD 2.0 or later
File: /home/httpd/vhosts/raven-flight.com/httpdocs/community/Sources/Subs-Graphics.php
Line: 289

2: imagealphablending(): requires GD 2.0 or later
File: /home/httpd/vhosts/raven-flight.com/httpdocs/community/Sources/Subs-Graphics.php
Line: 293

Checked my php info file and it lists my GD module as 1.6.2 or higher ... I'll talk to my host about that.  I'm guessing that is likely why the thread won't load and the images won't resize.  I'll get the GD upgraded and see how it goes.

Make sure your PHP version is up to date as well, because GD2 has been bundled with PHP for some time now.

have php 4.2.2.  Would 5.0.5 have it bundled?
