how to restore a backup?

I've moved of server and installed smf 1.0.5 on it how can I restore the backup I made of my forum of the previous server with the backup I downloaded?

Use phpMyAdmin:

Click on the SQL tab -> Location of the text file: browse for the backup file on your local drive and click 'Go'.

What is phpMyAdmin?

If it's a fairly big database it may cause timeouts. Trying using the restore_backup.php attached to [Unknown]'s post here.
