How to disable "new topic" in some sections for users?

Hello Guys,

I want to disable "new topic" in Parent board and child board section for users but allow them to use it in other topics.

ex:
General discussion > Themes >....

Disable new topic in general discussion and themes section but not after that

you must set up custom permissions sets and apply the sets to the boards.

Go to Administration > Permissions > Board Permissions > Edit Profiles

Then create a permission set where the usergroups in question are not allowed to create new topics

Then go and apply that permission set to the boards where you want these permissions to function.
