How to set forum as pain page(index)

my forum is @ www.tvkahani.com/forums , and i want it to load when someone opens www.tvkahani.com

You will need to take all the files that currently reside in the "forum" folder of your site and transfer them to root. Probably easiest to do this by ftp. Basically download everything and then upload again into the root.

You then need to update the paths in your Settings.php files

That's more or less it really 

Depends of course if you are running something else as well in the root folder in which case it might not be possible ?

If it doesn't work correctly after you make the change then suggest you download and run repair_settings.php from your root folder. That'll show you any errors that exist after the move.
