Ok, thanks, so how should I go about fixing it?

PJLawrence

It's a tricky one. If you know which mod installed these last few lines. You could try un-installing that mod, then installing the Flickr mod and then re-installing the mod you previously un-installed.

Maybe post a list of installed mods and we might be able to work it out.

markeefarmer

ok-  will post the list in a mo-  do not know if it is any use, but I got the following errors displayed when I installed and then tried to uninstall the mod:

1.   Execute Modification   ./index.php   Test successful
   2.   Execute Modification   ./Sources/Subs.php   Test failed
   1.   Replace   ./Sources/Subs.php   Test failed

Looking at the errors..
Execute Modification   ./index.php   Test successful
Execute Modification   ./Sources/Subs.php   Test failed
It looks like the problem is more than just the Help.english.php

So I'm not sure we are going to fix this issue easily.
However, if you have time I'm still interested in seeing the tail section of the Help.english.php file found in Themes\default\languages folder, since it may help but I can't guarantee anything.

markeefarmer

Is this what you are after?

The menu options you refer to do not exist in what I am looking at.

<?php

$txt['blu_twitter'] = 'Twitter link';
$txt['blu_twitter_desc'] = 'Enter your Twitter address to enable Twitter link in the header area. Leave blank if you do not want Twitter icon to appear.';
$txt['blu_twitter_alt'] = 'Visit our Twitter page';

$txt['blu_fb'] = 'Facebook link';
$txt['blu_fb_desc'] = 'Enter your Facebook user/fanpage address to enable Facebook link in the header area. Leave blank if you do not want Facebook icon to appear.';
$txt['blu_fb_alt'] = 'Visit our Facebook page';

$txt['blu_rss'] = 'Custom RSS handler';
$txt['blu_rss_desc'] = 'Change if you are using custom RSS handler (i.e. Feedburner). Leave empty to link to default RSS.';
$txt['blu_rss_alt'] = 'View RSS feed';

?>

Need to get this problem sorted rapidly-

I am getting reports that users of the forum can now see it when for example they click on the help user mark next to things, such as Username in Registration.

PJLawrence

Hi, Which file is this? Please note that the file I'm referring to is the Help.english.php since it could be a missing quote or something in that file resulting in the problem.
Do you have this problem even when this mod is not installed?

markeefarmer

Problem fixed-

Was an issue with >? in the language files.  Deleting and then re inputting sorted the problem.

Cheers.

markeefarmer

Shame that I cannot get the mod to work  :(

PJLawrence

The Flickr site provides many means of including images in websites, which I think is the reason why this mod is little used.
Most users find that there's lots of example html/php code which can be used to incorporate flickr albums in their forum via one of the portal systems.  In the past I've given some examples..

Also there are html generators, for example this slide show one..
