Help Upgrading from v1 to 2, Can't login

I've just upgraded from version 1.1.14 to 2. When I then point my browser to myforumurl.com/upgradep.php, it ask of the admin username and password, and I entered the details but it's not working. I followed the instruction of how to disabled admin login and still not working. Pls any help? Thanks.

Then why didn't you simply "bump" you own topic?

No. The box to input the username and password went blind so I can't enter any details. So I clicked continue but it still brings the same message, i.e. Authentication error...

Pls help me out...

If I've found the forum you are trying to update (looking at your previous posts) it seems you have an error in the upgrade.php file.

Try first uploading a new upgrade.php and run it.
If it still gives you access problems, try with the attached one.

If it still doesn't work I think that the best choice for you would be to restore a backup and repeat the upgrade procedure.
