Conversion Phpbb3 to SMF 2.0.1

Hi, I'm trying to convert my phpbb3 to smf 2.0.1 and had no result. I don't know how to do to solve my problem, i follow the steps in this post http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=218449.0 and it doesn't work.  It always throw the same error:

Sorry, the database connection information used in the specified installation of SMF cannot access the installation of phpBB3. This may either mean that the installation doesn't exist, or that the Database account used does not have permissions to access it.

The error that was received from the Database was: SELECT command denied to user 'XXX'@'localhost' for table 'phpbb_users'

Welcome to the site. 

If this is being run on a different server to the one its getting the data from you'll need to specify the IP of the database as localhost wont work, try using the IPs for any database connection details your using.

Both forums are on the same host in separate directories ... and both have localhost as ip. I don't know how to change it. I'm new at this jajaja

Ok, you'll need to make sure that the database user(s) have access to both the databases, if you have cpanel then you'll need to login and add the user your using to both databases and give the relevant permissions.

Please can you let me know how I can add a user to the SMF database, it is via a managed APP via LCN , I need to create the user so I can convert from PHPBB2 to SMF2
