Hello,

Is there a way to have different icons for read and unread topics in the messageindex (like phpbb)?
The best should be to have it the same as in the boardindex.

Please van someone help me?

greets,
Martijn

do you mean on.gif, off.gif, and on2.gif?

The only thing php can't do is tell you how much milk is left in the fridge.

nokonium

I don't think he does, he is refering to messages not posts. That would be a handy feature/mod.

i get what your saying, but isnt that the point of this little guy..-

*cough* awkward silence

Not really, that tells you you have some, but not which ones you have read.

That's exactly what I mean. I know there is a new.gif, but the on/off gif should be better for me.
It possible, it would be nice that this replace the hot topics.
The best should be that sticky topics have another pic.

You want huge icons next to every topic?

What is wrong with the new icon?

M@cer

Not so huge as in the indextemplate, but smaller.

There's nothing wrong with the new icon, but for some people it was clearer on the old forum (PHPBB) than the new icon of SMF.
I work with soccerballs (black for no new post/orange for new post).

If it would be possible, great!. If not I will tell them that they should live with the new icon.

For me (and maybe for others) it's more usefull than the hottopic icons.
I hope someone can help me with the code.
