Problem with code and quote css

Hello,
i recently noticed that both the css "quote" and "code" tags creating a scroll bar depending on the text width or images.
How can i change this to not adding a scroller?
Which file i need to edit?

Search this forum for "table-layout: fixed".

OK i found out what it was.
"overflow: auto;"  from the tags, well now i know
