some problem

i'm got a problem while i'm trying to upgrade.
i show the error like this

Upgrading...
Converting members and personal messages... Unsuccessful!
This query:
SELECT ID_MEMBER, im_ignore_list, gender, secretAnswer
FROM smf_members
LIMIT 0, 500;
Caused the error:

Unknown column 'im_ignore_list' in 'field list'

what happen ? and how can i solve this thankssss

Were you using an older beta version of 1.0?  Are you trying to update to 1.1?

If not, which version were you using?

I was getting the same problem, keeps saying Try Again. I am upgrading from 1.03 to 1.05.

Are you sure it was 1.0.3 and not 1.1 Beta 3 Public?

Actually I made a Boo Boo. I thought it was 1.1 beta 5 so I went from 1.1 Beta 3 down to 1.05 when I get that error. Not sure what I do next

Upload all files from the 1.1 Beta 3 upgradepackage again. You can't downgrade to 1.0.5.

Ok I am doing that now. Do I run Upgrade.php or just overwite the files?

Update: Phew all working now. Thanks for the quick help. I think I will become a charter member. So impressed with the response
