Hey, I have a 1.1.15 forum that I would like to upgrade to 2.0.2, I just want to keep all the members and posts intact, don't care about addons not working, is this possible to do?

I was looking at:
http://custom.simplemachines.org/upgrades/

But didn't see anything that could help me. Also, when I try to update from my Admin CP, I get the following:
"The package you are trying to download or install is either corrupt or not compatible with this version of SMF."

Looking

Did you download the update and then upload through package manager?

Cudamine

No, I didn't. Can I just download 2.0.2 through the package manager and update it from there?

Looking

No you have to select the Large upgrade option since you have an existing database.

Cudamine

I'm probably doing this wrong, I downloaded the Large Upgrade and tried using the package manager to upload it, got this:
"The package you tried to upload either is not a valid package or has become corrupted."

Should I be using  package manager... or?

Looking

You need to FTP the files to overwrite your current ones.

FIRST, backup everything! Your files and database.

Download the large upgrade package.  If it was me I would create a folder on my desktop and extract the zip to that, then FTP all of the files to you site, overwriting all the existing files.  This won't harm your database at all.

As always, backup everything; database and forum files before you start this.  You might also take a look at the link in my signature concerning upgrading.
