A Mod to password protect a fourm.

You know, like say I wanted to password protect a fourm (Like General Discussion)  for a joke event. Is there a mod for this for SMF 2.06, and if not could someone make one?

There isn't one for current SMF mostly because we strongly discourage its use.

The problem with password protecting a board is that invariably the password gets shared around with people and before you know it, you have no real control over who can see a board even if you can control who posts in it.
