Today trying to post to this Forum from my IPhone ???

Hi Today logged on via my IPhone 4S and tried to post to repy in a topic I had a reply from BUT it kept booting me back to the log on page. So couldnt post on the Fourm.

Note it would let me log in go to the post then when I would hit reply it then booted me out  :o

Any way letting you know  ???

Problem here on sm.org

My forum is still work in progress and a fresh 2.0.2 ...I did try this on mine (in case I was the the fault lol) and it worked fine   ???

...just tried it again and YES it did it again.


I put my Username / Password in > showed me as "Wazza"  I then hit the link "show new replies to your posts" and it spat me out to the log on screen saying

Please login below...and so on

Went in a checked the setting and this was indeed set to never except cookies. Changed this and now this works?  ??? my now misunderstanding is...why did it work fine with my Fresh install of SMF with cookies set to never and not for this Site ???

Lol, glad that helped.

I dunno about it for sure but it's probably that the cookie was already saved. Or it used a session, dunno.
