A new twist after upgrading to smf 1.1b3

I had problems when upgraded to 1.0.5 since my server was running php 4.4 The whole forum crashed.
Then I upgraded to smf 1.1b3 and restored database. Every thing is there, the openeing page is great as before, but nothing else works. I get this error:
Unknown column 'a.attachmentType' in 'field list'
Also my previous admin password is not accepted
Any help will be appreciated

Did you run upgrade.php after you restored your forum database?

I did and then I deleted the upgrade.php file
I also did something maybe stupid: After the installation I updated my database from a previous backup (using my control panel php MyAdmin).
I guess I can see two options:
1. remove the database and rerun upgrade.php
2. remove the database and install a new one using the back up
I have saved the upgrade.php in my computer
