phpBB to SMF 1.1 Converter Problem

I try running the latest converter and I get the following error message:

Sorry, the database connection information used in the specified installation of SMF cannot access the installation of phpBB2. This may either mean that the installation doesn't exist, or that the MySQL account used does not have permissions to access it.

The error MySQL gave was: SELECT command denied to user: 'mapa-onl_smf1@localhost' for table 'phpbb_users'

I checked Settings.php and changed the password inMySQL to the same as Settings.php.  Still have the same problem.  Any ideas?

You need to allow "mapa-onl_smf1" to access the phpBB database.  Do you have cPanel?  If not, what administration tool do you use/have?
