help - After I enter mySQL server settings the next page is blank.

Trying to install SMF,
After I enter mySQL server settings and click proceed the page that loads is a blank grey page.
I don't know what I am doing wrong...

Strange.  What version are you trying to install?  1.0, I assume?

Can you post a phpinfo.php, please?  What is phpinfo.php?

OK, fixed, i mispelled phpinfo...

Strange.  Do you have phpMyAdmin or similar?  Are tables created in the database?

I should say it is a blank grey page with a white bar at the top that says "SMF Installer".

It seems that I do have phpMyAdmin.

I don't know how to check if there are rows, i tried searching for a query that would return something like this, but i couldn't find one.
