FTP Install Page

I can't seem to get past the FTP install page.... I keep getting an
"Unable to connect to FTP server with this combination of details."
error, even though I have verified all the correct info many times.  I have manually changed the permissions to all of the forum files (through my FTP browser) to 777.

Any suggestions?

I've come across a server or two that just refuses to work with the package manager.  I'd contact your host and ask about FTP access via a php script.  In my cases, I just had to apply the mods manually.

There are also several posts on this subject.  Try searching for "Unable to connect to FTP server with this combination of details".

Sometimes is the MOD itself.  Try installing another mod and check what happens.

It is not a mod, its the full forum installation.

I screwed up.....the path was not quite right.  (A new FTP client helped too!)
