Avatars question!

hey guys...
I have created a new avatars package for smf, and my question is that after I upload it to the Avatar Gallery, can I post an announcement in this section??? because I didn't see any avatars announcements in here...

One more thing...

After I upload the package??? is there anything to do next??? or that's it?!
