Hello,

New to all of this stuff. I did a search with no results.

Is it possible to have a poll in which case the votes of the members are anonymous?

Thanks in advance

Eric E.

Owdy

Member votes are allways anonymous. If you mean guest voting, it isnt possible.

nope...   won't happen - especially not on 1.1.x which is at the end of it's software life.

I found in the 2.0 setting users options there under Guests there is Vote in polls. Checked this. Then when greating a poll there has come additional option to allow anonymous voting and voila now everybody can vote with the poll.

you do realize that there is nothing stopping someone from voting 23 times in the same poll?

also, I have no idea what you mean by "Then when greating a poll there has come additional option to allow anonymous voting"
polls are - by their very nature - anonymous....

SMF 2.0 does have the option to allow guests to vote in polls, which can be set on a per-poll basis. It is not possible in 1.1 however.
