Implementing repository

Greetings!

do you offer some Repository in addition to the forum?
I will have to make a 'Repository' section on my site and would be nice to have this as a MOD maybe - to share the tables with SMF.

I do know that sometimes Repository is done as something like a topic: 'Downloads..." etc where some links are published. But I'd like my Repository to be more advanced system (like Uploading and downloading files available depending on user group (admin, simple user, some other group), separating them on categories, maybe storing some separate files (instead of the links) in the database) and other nice features)....

Would be very appreciated for the answer!
