I've seen some MODs that create scheduled tasks to auto purge old topics, and also to auto lock them..

So, i was wondering if anyone could do a MOD which creates a scheduled task to auto remove inactive members from the forum. For example, members that haven't logged in for more than 30 days..

That would be very nice :D

It's already a built in feature. Go to: admin>>maintenance>>forum maintenance>>

Then scroll down to "Help Remove Inactive Members", and you can set the settings to whatever you would like.

I know that, but i'd have to do it manually every time... What i want is something to make a scheduled task to remove members automatically..

The mods that I have found here in Customize > Modifications
http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=1186 - Auto Email Inactive Ordinary Users
http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=3849 - email Inactive Users
http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=2569 - Enhancements to purge inactive members
offer very nice functions - just not a detail that I seek:

Activity is not just loggin in, I want to auto-purge members that have not posted since x days.

Any input on this?

email Inactive Users comes with a Scheduled task that you can configure to run as often as you like.

it may still be a bit buggy -  I use it to just remind users but not to delete them. it's handy to see it's associated Support and Comments thread, also.

True.

But as far as I can see and no matter how often I can configure it to run,
it appears not to have the feature that I seek: To remind inactive users that have not posted since x days.

Or am I overlooking a detail here?
