DoB on registration?

Hi Guys,

Is there any way to add a DoB (date of birth) field on registration, which will then integrate with the current Birthday field in your profile?.

I run a hunting/shooting related forum and really need to know the age of our members for many reasons. I note that there are now "custom" fields available on SMF V2, but really no way I can see to make people add their DoB when they register?.

Doesn't need to be a package as such, just if someone could tell me what file/s to edit and what to add?.

You could adapt an existing date-of-birth-on-registration mod to fulfil your requirement, I guess.

hmmm... you know, if you turn on COPPA, I think it also requires a DoB at registration.

That looks like it may do the trick, thanks  .

Coppa is already on and it doesn't ask for DoB, just if you are over 12.
